The hotel bar is open from 16:00 until 21:00 from Tuesdays to Saturdays. The hotel staff are happy to recommend and book restaurants in the vicinity. Look forward to delicious Thuringian specialities and a wide range of international creations.

Area information

From the Am Stadtpark, you can reach all of the city's sights on foot. In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous art and cultural attractions that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage organisation. Right next to the hotel are the Weimar Bauhaus buildings, together with the Bauhaus University. The historic cemetery, which lies opposite the hotel, houses royal burial vaults and a Russian Orthodox church.

Travel information

Arriving by car: - Take the A4 motorway Dresden/Eisenach. - Take exit Weimar. - Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and continue towards Stadt Weimar. - Once you reach the sign announcing that you are in Weimar, turn left at the first junction with traffic lights and travel towards Bauhaus University. - After approximately 400 metres you will reach our hotel on the right-hand side. Please use the address Geschwister - Scholl Str.1 if you have a car navigation system. Arriving by rail: - From the main railway station take the city bus numbers 5, 6 or 8 as far as the stop Poseckscher Garten. - You will see the hotel diagonally opposite you.
