Quick description

Located at the heart of the Stara Planina mountain range, Villa Cherven is a paradise for eco-tourists and nature lovers. The villa has a fish farm where rainbow trout are bred, as well as 3 naturally shaped pools with a large stock of trout. There are fishing lessons for children and adults, as well as sport fishing in the biggest pond. Villa Cherven’s restaurant serves traditional Bulgarian cuisine and local specialities, including fresh trout. The surrounding mountains and forests are ideal for hiking and horseback riding (with a guide). Mountain biking and photo safaris are available on advance booking. There are signposted trails to nearby waterfalls, peaks and caves. The surrounding area teems with wildflowers and is also a paradise for birdwatchers.
